Five Types Of Energy

Updated: Feb 9, 2020

Every person has five kinds of energy:

  • Physical

  • Mental

  • Emotional

  • Spiritual

  • Financial

We often only think of the financial aspect in the terms of cost, budgeting, and saving. It is essential that you reframe all of these as sources of energy in your mind so you can learn to manage them like your money.

Most people never think about how they spend their energy, and at the end of the day they hit a wall. They have no energy left to do the things that light their soul on fire. One of the most important things you can do on the daily is make sure you protect your life currency as you do your financial assets. Your control or lack of control of these energies will determine your success in life.

Get this — when you are at the top of your game energetically and managing your resources well, you are you creative, brilliant, and effective my friends. The secret here is to be consciously aware of when you start to experience any self-defeating thoughts or behaviors. Check yourself and ask is what I am doing in line with my goals and my integrity? Does giving my energy to this individual or situation take me closer to my goals?

Instead of letting the world control you, you can decide how you will use your life energy. You have control.

If you aren’t willing to nurture, love, distance and protect yourself from the fucking drama of other humans — you will get sucked into the storm.

Be selfish with your energy.

You can say no to needy people that can’t manage their emotions.

You can choose not respond to that dick that makes condescending comments on your social media threads.

You — and you alone, have the discernment to see how you’re responding and spending your energy. You arn’t here to save the world. Your present circumstances and reality is a sum of what you decide is worth your time.

So spend wisely my friends.

Remember Energy is a currency. When you 'pay' attention to something, you're buying an experience — it's an investment so 'spend' carefully and only on things that will bring you a good return. Be selective. Remember to treat your time with as much care as your finances. It is equally as valuable and unlike money you can't get your time back.
