Let’s talk about being direct!
The main reason I’ve been referred to as a bitch my entire life... not because I am, but rather because no one likes to hear uncomfortable truths. I don’t like to soften my words to accommodate others sensitivities. It’s not rude, it just saves us all time.
How many of you communicate in vague language that doesn’t directly convey what you want to say?
How many of you then get upset at someone for not understanding what you intended to say? They should just know, right?
Stop.
You cannot go through life being passive in your communication. It’s unclear and it leads others to start to fill in the blanks of what you are trying to say. It’s a waste of time.
Just be more direct with your words, please!
