Our minds have routines and habits and perceptions that make changing your behaviors and beliefs hard as fuck. โฃ

If you engage on the journey of change, then you need to be aware of your mindโ€™s ways to sabotage your efforts: ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฅ๐Ÿ-๐๐จ๐ฎ๐›๐ญ, ๐š๐ง๐ฑ๐ข๐ž๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐œ๐จ๐ง๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง. โฃ

When we decide itโ€™s time to step up to the plate and shift our self sabotaging behaviors, the mind will fabricate all sorts of self doubt, anxiety, and confusion. The reason being itโ€™s behaviors are constructed from habits. In other words it has a difficult time grasping new ideas because it is filtering them through old paradigms. โฃ

For example, if you regularly drink to cope with stress, and you decide to find a new coping method because of alcoholโ€™s harms to your health and wellbeing, then you need to power through all of the little voices in your head that that try to maintain the old routine. Or if you prefer to use food for comfort the same applies. Justโ€ฆ ignore that self sabotaging voice and remember that you set your higher goals at a threshold moment. A moment when everything was clear to you what you truly desire out of life. โฃ

๐ˆ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ฏ๐ž ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐จ๐ง๐ž ๐ฅ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ง๐จ๐ญ๐ž: Remember that your thoughts arenโ€™t always accurate, especially in moments of high emotional volatility. Eventually the inner tension passes and clarity returns. Once the new habits become integrated there is little self doubt. Just persevere and things will shift like ๐˜ฎ๐˜ข๐˜จ๐˜ช๐˜ค.
