
Is Honey Healthier Than Sugar?
𝐈𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐫? A lot of people think of honey as a “𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭” source of sugar that is healthier than other forms like table sugar (sucrose) and high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS). It does indeed have a ton of bioactive molecules that have been associated with health benefits, but you’d need to eat 50–80 grams of sugar to get a meaningful dose.
